AlphaNumérique is a pan-Canadian digital literacy project. Its goal is to use the experience and expertise of Techno Culture Club and its partners to reduce inequalities in the population by teaching the practical and critical skills needed to navigate our digital society.

For whom ?
The AlphaNumérique project is offering free activities to public library and community organizations’ staff and under-represented groups in Quebec and in Canada’s Francophone communities, grouped into three parts:
- Professional trainings: to train local library and community organization staff in digital literacy concepts, teaching and coaching methods.
- Public events: to offer digital learning activities to the public in partnership with libraries and community organizations (e.g. online navigation, emailing, online safety, identifying fake news, etc.)
- Events and meetings: Snacks and digital labs are present during short one-hour meetings between our facilitator and an expert on a topic related to digital literacy: adapting to audiences, cyber-violence, online safety, artificial intelligence, etc.)
