Techno Culture Club joins NumeriCulture 2019 program
Being held by the Laurentides culture council, NumériCulture provides an open invitation to discover and to experiment digital possibilites in cultural sector. From March 25 to 27, 2019, cultural professionnals will be able discuss about digital issues and participate to multiple activities (conferences, workshops or networking times).
Techno Culture Club has the honor to lead and facilitate the opening day of NumeriCulture 2019, an event dedicated to the exploration of digital opportunities for cultural sector.
The first day, TCC will provide two participatory conferences with the themes of maker culture, building creative digital space and four challenging activities by using four technology tools (vinyl cutter, 3D printer, virtual reality and micro:bits).
Techno Culture Club will also set up an exhibition stand at the Station on March 27th from 9am to 2pm and will introduce its techno-creative activities and other services.
March 25th - Public library as a digital and creative space
Participatory conferences - 10am to 12pm
TCC will propose a new concept of conference by using actions-centred on collaborative exploration and practical learning. Participants must pick one of the exploration theme below when they register to the conference :
Group #1 : Why sould a public library be interested to digital culture and technology tools?
Group #2 : How to build a makerspace with a low budget in a public library?
Pratical learning - From 1 to 4pm
Throughout four challenges, participants divided into groups will try to resolve four digital challenges by using four technology tools : vinyl cutter, 3D printer, virtual reality and micro:bits.
Participants will be able to choose one of this technology tools and learn how to use it before initiating any work activities.
Private meeting - From 4 to 5pm
TCC will offer private meetings to any participants who want to get customize advices and will suggest directions for possible solutions.
March 27th - TCC x THE STATION (9am to 2pm)
TCC would be happy to help cultural professionals for their digital needs and to support them for their digital projects in the near future through its many services and activities (techno-creative activities, professional trainings, cultural actions, participative events and resources).
