Digital Literacy

Definition

« The ability to understand and master the Internet, digital tools, and information technologies in everyday life, at home, at work, and in the community in order to achieve personal goals and expand one’s knowledge and skills. » OECD

Although many services and information are primarily made available online, digital access and skills are not evenly distributed in today’s society. The global pandemic that has forced many to go online has highlighted the inequalities already present regarding digital divides.

Mastering digital tools and understanding the issues at stake is now a crucial skill for contemporary citizens. We want everyone to have an equal opportunity to access information, resources and to participate in the digital society.

Techno Culture Club has designed workshops, trainings and resources in order to accompany the public most directly affected by digital inequalities as well as for professionals who would like to accompany them directly.
